Cober Hill offers a wealth of expertise in the provision of facilities and resources for special interest and hobby groups.

Our 2 main workrooms offer excellent facilities for larger groups of up to 60 with a choice and flexibility of layout suitable to your specialised subject needs. The Conservatory is an ideal base for craft groups with its workbenches and natural lighting.

Our 4 smaller rooms, all with natural lighting and ground floor location for easy access, can be used as craft rooms or informal lounges for use outside of workroom activities. All are individual in size and set up capacity, seating from 15 to 30 delegates.

Our 6 acres of grounds can be used as a subject of study or an area in which to practice your craft, or along with the extensive recreation facilities as an ideal opportunity for relaxation.

Free, secure on site parking for up to 70 cars, is also suitable for minibuses and coaches.

Experienced staff are available to offer you the expertise and enthusiasm to assist and support you through every stage of your booking to ensure your visit runs exactly as you require, leaving you to enjoy your stay. 

PRESENTATION AND SUPPORT

Equipment available for presentations includes:

  • Wi-fi access in Cober Hill main reception area, Conservatory, Drawing Room and Wynyard Room
  • PowerPoint and overhead projection
  • Flipcharts and whiteboards
  • Audio system, microphone, hearing loop, lecturn, TV, DVD, video

Administrative support staff are happy to assist with photocopying, faxing and Internet access, by prior arrangement, which are charged at an additional rate.

Prior to your visit we support you with room allocations, special access needs, dietary requirements and workroom layout and set-up.

We are also happy to arrange or provide information about local places of interest, theatre visits, entertainers, speakers and educational resources information.
