Education Information

Cober Hill has a wealth of experience and expertise with facilities and resources for education groups and is perfect for school residential visits.

The 2 larger workrooms offer excellent facilities for use as a classroom, and the Conservatory is an ideal base for smaller school groups. The 4 smaller lounges can be used as classrooms or informal areas. The extensive grounds are great for educational purposes and study opportunities. In addition you can take advantage of one of the numerous orienteering trails that have been created or the local village trails created with school groups in mind.

Our dedicated staff provide support throughout your booking, assisting with room allocations, special needs, dietary requirements, classroom layout and set up. Staff are available during your visit to ensure it runs smoothly.

In 1935, at the country home of Lord Stavener, the annual cricket match between two local villages is almost upon us. The whites have been washed, the willow has been oiled and the crusts have been cut off the cucumber sandwiches.
