Situated in the magnificent North York Moors National Park, Cober Hill is just a
short drive from Scarborough, England's earliest seaside resort and the historic town of Whitby, famous for its abbey, which is only 14 miles north of Cober Hill.

to take advantage of the many activities available at Cober Hill, including

Summer Holiday Season also includes an optional entertainment programme for
both indoors and outdoors.
The facilities at Cober Hill are extensive. A
total of 63 en-suite bedrooms give 140 bed spaces. Cober Hill's main
building has bedrooms on three floors; 8 single bedded, 15 twin bedded, 2
double and 7 family. There are two dining rooms, a theatre equipped with stage and sound system, a conservatory and patio area,
upstairs boardroom and three lounges, all are indvivdual in size and set up capacity.
Cober Hill are a Pet Friendly establishment. We also offer facilities for ramblers and cyclists.
Cober Hill is owned by the two York charities,
the Joseph Rowntree Foundation and the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust. It
operates on a non-profit making basis; all the Directors serve in a voluntary
capacity.
