CAPTURING THE SHADES OF AUTUMN IN SOFT PASTELS

Pastels are adaptable and exciting to use so if you are a complete beginner or already have some experience with soft pastels but would like to develop your skills further, this is the perfect course for you!

The colours of autumn offer endless possibilities to produce dazzling pictures using this truly wonderful medium, so why not experiment with combinations of watercolour, gouache or acrylic under-paintings, combined with soft pastels and much more!

Students may work either from their own reference material, or weather permitting spend some time in the grounds of Cober Hill and the surrounding area capturing the colours of the autumn landscape.

Demonstrations and one-to-one tuition will be provided throughout the week, and all students will be provided with a pack of instructional handouts to support the course.
